Removing the comment line

Before we can concatenate the files together we need to remove the comment line (blue arrow) from each of the genomes we will be adding to. In the section Text Manipulation click on Remove beginning (red arrow in tool panel). Enter 1 to remove the single line comment, and select the NA12878 - mother dataset (red arrows). Click on Execute (green arrow).

Repeat this step for the father and two daughters' genomes.
