Understanding phylogenetic tree results

These results are also a composite dataset. Click on the eye icon to see the summary text and links. First we will click on the informative SNPs link to see how many SNPs were used when drawing the tree. You see the count of SNPs used in each pairwise combination. All the numbers are over one hundred thousand so the program had reasonable numbers of SNPs to use despite our filtering it to only the more reliable SNPs.

Then clicking on the tree.pdf link will show the actual tree. We see that there are three groupings.

The other links provide text descriptions of the tree that can be used by other programs, but we will not be using those here.
