Checking the size of the selective sweeps

The parameters used for finding the remarkable intervals affects two aspects of the intervals both the number of intervals and the size of the intervals. We see in the history panel that there are eight-hundred nineteen regions and the first is about two megabases in size. To get an idea of how much of the genome is covered by the regions we will use the Base Coverage tool.

In the section Operate on Genomic Intervals click on the Base Coverage tool. Our dataset is selected by default so click the Execute button.
