Finding regions of diminished variation

It is expected in a region of diminished variation, that there will be clusters of SNPs that are fixed in the populations. To find clusters of SNPs we will use the Cluster tool in the Operate on Genomic Intervals section. We are going to look for regions that have at least three SNPs and the SNPs are at most thirty thousand base pairs apart. For the return type we chose "Find cluster intervals; preserve comments and order" because we want the SNPs that are in clusters. Make the choices as shown in the screenshot (red arrows), then click execute (green arrow).
