Changing the format of a dataset

Note in the history panel that the dataset format is tabular (upward pointing blue arrow), we know this dataset has coordinates so we will change the datatype to interval. First click on the datatype tab in the center panel (red arrow). The selection list for the formats is long, a fast way of selecting is to start to type "interval" in the box and it will provide a shorter list to choose from. Then click the Save button. Galaxy will then update the metadata. You should then see the columns for chromosome, start, and end correctly labeled next to the column numbers in the history panel.

It is also good practice to name the history, so that when you have several you can tell them apart. Click on the history name "Unnamed history" (red arrow) and it will become editable. Type in "SNP example 3" and hit enter.
